Wonderful BB, superb work! What a great friend you have to put that kind of time into a gift! Did he make the case too or did you get it made?

Re: Eduard 1:72 B24 Liberator: Coastal Command

Happy birthday, Charlie, from a TP yearling. Fantastic job on the B-24. I can't see the 24 without remembering what a beast it was described to haul around the sky. It needed big men to wrestle the controls of this monster. Many liked the way the B-17 flew but the driving the 24 was more like pushi...

Re: Eduard 1:72 B24 Liberator: Coastal Command

It does look great but something is bugging me, I think the camouflage on top should be a 2 tone grey. I hear what you are saying Moggs, but Charllie always researches his models impeccably, I bet although it looks wrong, it is actually right :Thumbup Yes Moggy and Reg, I pondered over this for qui...

Re: Eduard 1:72 B24 Liberator: Coastal Command

Lovely Charlie, I am working on the new Revell P51 at the moment, looking to finish it in the "Frenesi" colour scheme. After that it will be the massive 1:24 Airfix Typhoon :Help I assume Hawker rather than Eurofighter... :Biggrin Indeed :Thumbup Cheers reg :Thumbup I look forward to seeing the fin...

Re: Eduard 1:72 B24 Liberator: Coastal Command

Coastal Command schemes are just the best! :Love Is that a Leigh light "dustbin" under the fuselage? Nevermind, I can see the light under the wing, radar then? Yup Moggy, the dustbin is the H2X radar system nicknamed 'Mickey'. It also replaced the ball turret on some 8th/9th/15th USAAF Lib's and B1...

Very nice. For a photo montage?
Indeed, same client as the Barracuda, Defiant and the Mustang. I like building 'in-flight' mode, saves mucking around with undercarriages!

Eduard 1:72 B24 Liberator: Coastal Command

Hey chaps, just thought I would post a recent commission, a long time since I completed anything! A bit of a departure for me, this being my first 'American' build, but as a Coastal Command version. A lovely kit and painting a white scheme is real challenge what with trying not to make it look, umm....

Re: FW-190 A-8

Nice work Andy, interesting scheme and I love those late war colours. It would be nice to see it photographed on a plain white or black background so the colours and details really stand out!

Re: Also in need of graphics card advice.

I am in a similar situation Dutch, still using a 760 which is ok but the game keeps crashing due to driver issues with this card. So until I upgrade it's just not worth the constant reboots! I feel completely out of the TP loop now as there are chaps flying now that I have never spoken to yet so am ...

Cheers Dutch, yes they are 20mm cannon. It's a pretty aeroplane apart from that sicky-out nose bit!
