Re: SRS
It is useful and sounds great, but is quite tricky to access when trying to adjust in game - particularly if the overlay is not on. Not sure at this point if its difficulties outweigh the benefits so look forward to trying out again on the 16th.

Upgrading from i5 to i7 processor
Hi chaps, Prangster very kindly sent me an i7 3778 3.4Ghz processor to replace my i5 4460. I am trying to find out if the i7 is compatible but it's a bit of a minefield trying to out. The i7 is a LGA 1155 socket H2 but my mobo is a Gigabyte GA-H81M-D2V CPU socket type:1150 . Tom posted a compatibili...

Re: SSD or HDD?
Cheers all, I went for the Seagate 2TB Slim, 2 yr guarantee - it voted best for 2020 on a number of different sites.

SSD or HDD?
Hi chaps, I only have one HDD currently and this is a few years old. I'm getting itchy about the need to back up images/files etc and would like a second drive to store onto as well. I can't decide whether to go for SSD which I know is faster, uses less energy but pound for pound does not get me as ...

Still getting crash/DX Error with the new 1060...
The game was stable after initial install. I updated to the latest NVidia driver (26.21.14.4166) and all still seemed ok until last night when the game locked (offline) and I received the following error message:
DXRenderer11::endFrame(..)
DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_REMOVED (0x887a0005)
Any ideas guys?

Re: Is this a decent graphics card?
Thanks chaps, I went with the 1060 Tom posted (but through Amazon). The AMD is too pricey for now and I can't believe 1080's are going for over £1000! Madness! My PSU is 650w and the 760 is currently connected to it via a 6 pin I think. It also appears to be held together mostly by dust! I haven't o...
