Re: Welcome Guests.

Welcome and I hope to see you tonight. It'll be an odd night flying the obstacle course.Bring along your relative, Johnny Walker.

Another Yank. That would make four. How many more do you think are underneath the cabinets and under the refrigerator? They should have sprayed.

Re: Welcome Guests.

Should there be a Feldwebel Mark arrives thread in the OTU?

Re: Computer IL2 inoperative

Thanks all. I updated all drivers and reconfigured my VivePro headset and it still was fowled up. I deleted about everything [IL2, SteamVR] and reinstalled it and it seems to work. We'll see how it holds up on KOTA. It's been odd trying to reconfigure my controls from scratch. Some controls refuse t...

Amazing! The table display needs to be out where it can be seen unless there's kids to deal with. Outstanding!

Run DX setup. Might be some kind of bought virus checker causing problems.
I tried to download the latest DX but it said I already had the most recent version installed and I can't find how to uninstall DX to reinstall and overcome corrupt files.

Computer IL2 inoperative

Everything worked fine until I downloaded and installed X-plane 11 and one add-on aircraft from a commercial company [Just Flight, Piper Archer III] in anticipation of some real-life flying. I have way more space empty on my SSD and there was 10's of GB left of empty space [I only downloaded the US ...

Re: Eduard 1:72 B24 Liberator: Coastal Command

Happy birthday, Charlie, from a TP yearling. Fantastic job on the B-24. I can't see the 24 without remembering what a beast it was described to haul around the sky. It needed big men to wrestle the controls of this monster. Many liked the way the B-17 flew but the driving the 24 was more like pushin...

No, I'm sure it comes apart easily but sometimes getting everything to hold position as you put the casing back together is another story. I'll look for videos as suggested.

How can I say this...

...and get a serious answer? I know where your collective minds are spring-loaded to go but I'll try anyway. After the deluge of naughty innuendo maybe I'll get serious advice. My Thrustmaster [the jokes start here] Warthog [and continue here] joystick [and spin out of control here] has a large conv...

Re: Recommended books

Silk, I avoided a pun by writing "Get a room" rather than writing, "Book a room."

In the TP pun tradition, the latter is desired if not required, I suppose.

BTW, your 'Block" pun was deftly done.

Re: Recommended books

I know quite a lot about certain periods of history but my stories flow from other periods. Yes, I know more than the average Joe on the street about those times but far, far less than I know of my periods of study. I wrote half of a novel, Morningstar , but people urged me to instead begin another ...

Re: Recommended books

PM away, kind sir, and I shall tell you about the non-fiction project I'm ignoring that I actually had agents of two good houses ask me to "Send me that book." I haven't tried to publish my first completed novel. Most first novels aren't fit to line the bottom of a birdcage. After 17 revisions I hop...
