FPS blues

Just checking in guys, I still haven't resolved the sudden drop if FPS from 80 to 25 which makes it extremely frustrating to fly IL2. Running a benchmark I dropped from 2500 to 900. The hardware seems to be fine, I can't find any software that is slowing me down, no malware or viruses. Speedtest res...

Re: Bf109 E-7 Horizontal Stabilizer trim

Good question. On all other planes I've been using the default Ctl + Cursor Up / Down and Home button for resetting trimmers, but with the 109 this doesn't work for me. There's an action specifically for the 190, but no other that I can find for the 109. Upon engine start the status scroll shows tri...

Re: Tweaking graphics settings

Paint schemes are doing a fine job!

Windows 10
I7 8700 processor
3.7 ghz
16 GB ram
750 w power
Dell gaming monitor

I'll check in game frame rates and post, wouldn't mind trying overclocking a bit also - am researching software to help with that and to monitor cpu/gpu temps etc.

Tweaking graphics settings

Guys, I could really use some help sorting out settings for the Nvidia 1080. I've set it to Mastiffs settings as posted here and visuals are OK, but I feel it should be better. I keep losing planes below me due to the terrain. Wouldn't hurt to check the in game graphic settings as well, thanks.

Re: Starshina Cowboy arrives at Kalach

We've got a shortage of P-39 pilots (can't think why) so if you've got the P-39 I'd like you to go to the 298 IAP Cowboy. Moggy, got the P-39L-1, I'll get some stick time with it this week - looks to be a good fighter/ground attack plane. I believe I heard you are using the Thrustmaster T16000 flig...

Cowboy, do you have full forum access yet?
Not yet Sparky, by the way have you had a chance to test the encoding knobs on your button box for functions like opening and closing cowls, shutters, etc?

But you did just buy Kuban last night just so you could fly an A20. Shame to waste all that money ??
To get the planes plus I believe the plan is to run Battle of Kuban missions the next four Sundays.
My first flight in the A20, it's a great plane!

Re: Starshina Cowboy arrives at Kalach

All joking aside, I have really enjoyed flying with the squad and I look forward to more of it. It will be extremely beneficial when I have more access to the forums with the downloads and mission briefings etc. Thanks again guys!

Re: Starshina Cowboy arrives at Kalach

Thank you, I'll get the next round and maybe a second for Merlin for putting up with me - it does take awhile getting used to flying on your side of the sky after all. I'll fly whatever you put me in and if I like it I'll even bring it back.
