Re: Recommended books

Wow I'm impressed. Not only that any TP could string more than three words together but that you have got such a prestigious name as Random House to show serious interest. As for moving to Tuscany, sounds ok I would hope it is better than Rome. I just back from a quick holiday and it strikes me the ...

Re: Steam VR and OTT

Hmm, Looking at the forum it shows mixed opinions, someone posting on the 27th that it works fine. I'm not too sure. I'll try uninstalling it and see if I can spot the difference.

Re: Steam VR and OTT

If you have an Nvidea card you can select DSR in global settings. This renders the game in a higher resolution to what you have (x1.5/x2.0/x2.5 etc) and then reduces it back to the native resolution of your monitor. You also get to adjust the smoothness at which it renders the image. What hit this h...

Re: Plan, Execute, Debrief

What happens is that we fly to the target trying to figure out who is where. What goes right is that Tom was on hand to save us What went wrong is that someone took a shot at Tom (and missed) Why? Is because we are trigger happy drunks The lesson to be learned is that once again Tom's skill and dari...

Re: Is it me?

Frames actually. I find them just the right height for bench press stands.

If you are interested I'll post a link to a senior citizens power lifting site.

Is it me?

Is it me or is anyone else losing track of all the new recruits? Every time I log on there appears to be someone new flying with us or going through OTU. What a welcome situation. So just in case I missed anybody - please accept my warm welcome to Tangmere Pilots. Winter is here so no more excuses f...

Re: Recommended books

I don't know whether this post belongs here or in the next campaign section. I was on hols in Norwich the other week and found a mega book shop pretty much in the town centre. They had a massive military section and I searched for BC/RS but no luck. I suspect they would have known the value of it to...

Re: Big thanks

When I started this thread I never thought that it would get this busy or require the level of commitment Merlin has shown.

Onwards and upwards I say.

And yes a big thanks to merlin

Re: Starshina Tuffy arrives at Kalach

I can see it's going to be a replay of that scene from BoB "Stop that Czech chatter and steer Two Three Zero" "Repeat please" "Steer Two Three Zero" "Repeat please" "Now just shut up the lot of you...…………………….. You know how the rest goes. Welcome guys I assume you realise it's compulsory to be word ...

Re: Also in need of graphics card advice.

I'll throw the Card in as well.

On second thoughts it won't be powerful enough.

Tom why don't you keep it as a squadron spare, in case anyone else needs to use it as you did, rather than spend on the postage.

Big thanks

Big welcome to the new chaps and we have had quite a few recently, so lets not forget the thank you's to those who took the time to take these guys through the AF's.

I am sure that seeing new recruits into TP is reward enough, but lets not forget to show our appreciation.

Re: Recommended books

A fine book I am sure, because all TP's are fine people. But the reviews don't seem to mention the S&M nature of the post 1788 frontier, which I thought you might have dealt with in some detail. No doubt you wrote for a wider audience than your posts on TP might indicate. I'm sure it will get the pe...
