Re: Landing SOP

i would point out that one of the purposes of a circuit is to land in a disciplined manner without the need for radio keeping an eye out for traffic and if you all do the same thing then it should result in commless chatter landings, i am a fan of join at 2000ft over head the runway in a left hand o...

Re: Guzzler has joiined to save the day

Welcome to TP Guzzler. I expect we will use Guz on comms as 601 can't manage more than 3 letters at once. :-) if i was into inter squadron bants i would probably say at least we have the correct number of fingers and thumbs to count to 10 with an 8/2 split... but as i am a child of both squadrons i...

Re: Current state of GPU market

Last card I bought was a 3070Ti 8Gb for my Nephew. When I checked the performance stats it was slightly better (5 - 10%) than the 2080Ti I use on my Il2 VR rig. My Nephew was very happy with it. He plays PUBG and Rust. can you be my uncle, i would sit on your knee for a new GPU (not that i need it)...

Re: if there's thunder and lightning..

Depends on many factors. If you live in the middle of a city, you can leave it on, it wont matter. If you are somewhere isolated, turn it off. i would have thought that in the middle of the city only lessens your chance of a strike a bit like a bait ball, if your building gets hit and doesnt have a...
