Cam 5 with the dampener and tight-ish springs.
Also play with your rudder curve in the settings and take it down to 60 or something - lessens the sensitivity around the middle but you can still get full deflection if needed.

Re: Landing SOP
Just so it's clear, I wasn't suggesting we don't use the proposed landing procedure by saying that, lol. I only make that point as I've not seen anyone cut anyone else off now for a long time. I know, but I've been a TP long enough now to know that someone, somewhere, will cock up. It's a universal...

Re: Landing SOP
Thankfully the mission designers will be killing some of us off, and the squadrons may well return at different times, so there shouldn't be any real overload provided everyone follows the pattern, sees who is landing ahead of them, and waves off as needs be. The only downside is that people land in...

Re: Landing SOP
Note to everyone: When both squadrons are landing at the same field, switch to SRS channel 3 (or whatever channel is specified by the mission builder) when you reach the airfield. Squadron commanders can make the decision when to switch if returning as a squadron, otherwise everyone can switch as th...

@Sparky I’ve taken your email out of your post as it’s a public forum which means that Hatter could sell your details and we wouldn’t be able to prove it was him. You can pm it though.

Re: Introduction and hello...
Apart from the thanking Bunny bit (I mean who does that unless it's in a sarcastic insincere sort of way!?) I've picked out the appropriate Tangmere ethos elements.Nigel Harris wrote: ↑Thu Dec 28, 2023 11:20 pm Thanks ... Bunny.

Guzzler has joined to save the day
Chaps, give a warm welcome to Guzzler . Be nice to him as he's a decent sort, which is why he's posted to No1. Guzzler be careful around the No601 mess. New recruits tend to go missing there or they turn up gibbering like maniacs covered in grease and bits of bacon. I'm not sure where they get the b...

Re: VR questions, double app windowed on desktop
Oooh don’t forget to limit the head view otherwise you’ll be able to stick your head through the cockpit in flight and that is weird.

Re: VR questions, double app windowed on desktop
One question, when I lifted the headset to have a look there appears to be two versions of the game running on the desktop, with two windows dividing the screen vertically. First time in VR? It's a doozy. https://forum.il2sturmovik.com/topic/12826-game-updates/page/2/#comment-1152669 See number 28.
