Re: Advice Please: Nummy Hunkered In, Getting Ready to Blow Cash on good Sim Computer

Dont go for the second option. The Intel optane memory stick goes into your SSD slot and is essentially an SSD that you cant control, is slower and has only 16 GB space. On the other hand the 16GB RAM option is vastly overpriced. You are essentially paying 100 USD more for something that costs only ...

A bit slower and smaller RAM than I would like, and no SSD, both of those can be easily upgraded later though.

Re: Welcome Guests.

Ah I see. Well, we have flights every Tuesday, Friday and obviously Sunday. I sometimes fly on other days too, but that depends entirely on whether I have time or feel like it, so there is no plan :D

Re: SSD or HDD?

Depends on what exactly you want. Seagates are usually more speedy less reliable. I don't have any experience with Toshibas though.

Re: Advice Please: Nummy Hunkered In, Getting Ready to Blow Cash on good Sim Computer

CPU: same as before, good CPU for multicore performance, slightly lagging behind Intel in gaming, but only small FPS drops MB: not much to say, it is good cooler: basically the best low cost option GPU: enough for small resolution gaming RAM: enough again, some say that having two RAM sticks is bett...

Re: Advice Please: Nummy Hunkered In, Getting Ready to Blow Cash on good Sim Computer

I would not really be worried about screwing it up, it really is easy 😀 Anyway, for the CPU, you probably miswritten the name 😄 but to be fair, for pure gaming Intel is better. The margin is quite slim though so, if you are going to use the PC for other stuff then it is viable. Its also very depende...
