Run DX setup. Might be some kind of bought virus checker causing problems.
I tried to download the latest DX but it said I already had the most recent version installed and I can't find how to uninstall DX to reinstall and overcome corrupt files.

Computer IL2 inoperative

Everything worked fine until I downloaded and installed X-plane 11 and one add-on aircraft from a commercial company [Just Flight, Piper Archer III] in anticipation of some real-life flying. I have way more space empty on my SSD and there was 10's of GB left of empty space [I only downloaded the US ...

Re: How can I say this...

No, I'm sure it comes apart easily but sometimes getting everything to hold position as you put the casing back together is another story. I'll look for videos as suggested.

How can I say this...

...and get a serious answer? I know where your collective minds are spring-loaded to go but I'll try anyway. After the deluge of naughty innuendo maybe I'll get serious advice. My Thrustmaster [the jokes start here] Warthog [and continue here] joystick [and spin out of control here] has a large conv...

You've been away for a while. It also counts as public service.

I've never shot Tom down on a mission. I don't want the stock price of KFC to collapse.

I have shot him down on practice nights, AND he was in a Spit. :Peace Maneuver kills count.

Re: Welcome Guests.

Hi Barmy, (I wrote this as Silk was posting. He's a better authority than I. Take his as gospel. Take me with a pinch of salt, for example, OTU aircraft selection.) You won't need Bodenplatte for a while although you might want it if the rest of us are putzing around in P-47's or Spit IXs some pract...

Re: Feldwebel Mantock leaves Kalach

Welcome aboard Mantock! Your videos are great. T'was fun flying with you on "off days" but I'm in France now for a bit scouting for our advance base for resuming our fight with Tommy now that we've polished off the Reds. I'm sure the guys are drinking Stalin's private vodka stocks in the Kremlin by ...

At least we don´t collide mid-air with our wingmen ;)
Don't you bomb them or something?

Welcome aboard Chris. You'll get used to us. Sadly, that's the first major warning sign. :Devil

Merlin's great to work with, don't you think?

Re: Welcome Guests.

T-Rex, if you get involved now you've picked a good time. Once you complete the OTU flights it'll be time for the I-16 and MiG 3 campaign and then all the shiny new Battle of Bodenplatte aircraft should be released and will occupy our campaigns for a while with Tempests, P-51, P-47, P-38, Bf-109K-4,...

Yes, Tom's lazy inverted low high-speed pass and roll through the landing pattern full of crippled, smoking aircraft trying to land with bits falling off.

The quiet life. :Peace

Re: Feldwebel Fritz leaves Kalach

Thanks all! Looking forward to getting into the Ops on Sundays - and a big thanks to Merlin for the OTU flights. I'll make sure to get all the skins installed tonight. - If you do anything exceptional make it a good one or they will never let you forget it. Heh - yes. ... Like the time ...long flig...
