Re: Welcome Guests.

HI Rusti, Looks like I'm the early bird of the TP crew today. All the rest must be busy after over sleeping due to the clocks going back. Always glad to welcome new recruits and we seem to have a high quality joining us these days, although enthusiasm in the face of adversity is of course the main r...

Could be worse.... he might have been a Belgian!

No seriously, welcome to TP. Given how long we have been going we must be doing something right.

Re: IL-2 BoS Mission Building Guide

Reminds me of that scene in ' Oh What a Lovely War', where the British Generals are driving along in a car discussing how they must not tell the French what they intend to do.

However Tom is right in this instance.

Re: TP Groups collection

This looks like an outstanding piece of work that takes the hard work out of mission building. I am blown away by the detail and thought that must have gone into it.

Re: Welcome Guests.

Meyer, Sorry for some reason I missed your post when it was first done. How true the company making IL2 BoS are asking for more money without having fixed the original game. The creators of CloD just abandoned the game without finishing it. They both seem (to me) inferior in integrity to the origina...

Re: Welcome Guests.

Hi Stappers - hope you are well.

Seems like what goes round comes round. Your comment on BoS being disappointing is interesting and invites a comparison on the introduction of CloD.

Who would play CloD as initially launched now? I'd put money on Zilcho.

Re: OTU Open for BoS

I don't think the oil rad or the cowl flaps work . Neither does the in cockpit fuel gauge. I don't think the landing process is helped by the paleness of the runway against the terrain. Anyone know of a way of increasing the contrast in the terrain? Flying the a/c in combat may be very similar to IL...
