Re: New OTU instructor

Reggie wrote: Also Tom, does this put Cheese in charge of finding some recruits too? Keeping up to date recruitment posts on various forums and the like?

I reckon so - anything to keep him quiet.

@ Tiger - please can you send the paperwork etc to Cheese and cc it to me. Thanks awfully.

A combination of the two.

Re: No6_OTU needs more fresh and new blood...

Hear hear BB. I have one chap lined up. If anyone else wants to be an instructor please say. @ Tiger - I omitted thanks for all the hard work you've done. Over the last 3 years especially the frustrations have grown as there have not been many new recruits and many who were not appropriate. I give t...

Re: OTU Open for BoS

Hard to say. A long time ago the developers said they wanted to make damage more real hence the apparent increased damage. I'm not convinced that getting hits is easier, but maybe the visual cue is greater when you do hit.

I have no idea how right it is.

Re: OTU Open for BoS

After figuring out that my left brake was reversed I managed to take off in the FW190 then crash landed immediately. After a hairy second take off I discovered I had trim fully up (hence the first crash) but at about 350km/h everything is a lot smoother. The only thing is that at the moment I'm not ...

Re: OTU Open for BoS

Plus the fact that I doubt any of us are excellent pilots in it yet....I am still getting the hang of things for sure, and I still can't bloody land properly in it :-o He he maybe there is a case for us all going to OTU Tuesday training will be interesting once BoS is officially released. And befor...

Re: OTU Open for BoS

Too early as the final game isn't out, we don't know enough about it and we don't have the missions prepped.

That and we aren't using it yet. I reckon OTU could start around January when we have a good idea about it.

Re: Here's one for Swallow

The only way I know of is to have many spawn points and number them etc so people know which ones to take. This is a complete faff though and will lead to much confusion.

But Swallow loves a problem to solve so he may have a better idea.

Yeah and they'd be too mature for us!

18 is a good cutoff point.

But of course if it's an A3 you'll also need the Vb for it to shoot down.

Re: Request!!! French Airfields in BoF/BoB

Best to find how the airfields were named. For example what were any Dieppe airfields referred to as - the following list doesn't include Dieppe:

Re: Loading Spawn Templates on MP Mission start

This is a script that will automatically load certain airfields direct from a separate .mis file rather than from the mission .mis file? Cunning. It'll also give Swallow hours of enjoyment (he's strange that way) trying to incorporate it into the RDF we use and so on. Are all files/folders just drop...
