Re: Sgt. Dickie arrives at Sutton Bridge

Cheese, this is the RAF. If he did that well it merits a "Satisfactory" at best!

We'll done Dickie.

Re: Sgt. Dicky leaves Sutton Bridge

Nah. It's a case of either mistake or email hack. Dickie has been very clear so just write it off as odd and get on with A/F2 I think.

I'll delete this thread in a bit.

Maybe a previous Dicky hit your email by accident.

All very odd.

Re: Sgt. Dicky leaves Sutton Bridge

Not a joke from our end as Tiger is too decent for that. Wouldn't put it past No1 though...

Probably an email hack. It's S Sgt and Dicky plus the email font was different from what you used before.

Re: Sgt. Dickie arrives at Sutton Bridge

I have a feeling you might turn out to be of 601 calibre after all.

Dunno why BB deleted the original. Probably drunk on shandy again.

Re: Sgt. Dicky leaves Sutton Bridge

Dickie is in and raring to go for A/F2. You've been a victim of a prank email with Dickie wrong spelled.

And this is good news as he was pleasant company last night in a platonic way.

Re: Sgt. Dickie arrives at Sutton Bridge

Ahhhhhhhh yes, it has to clarify that they're squadrons not sections. Still, what's in a name. 601 means handsome devils that are killers in their Fuglycanes and Spitfires.

Re: Sgt. Dickie arrives at Sutton Bridge

Hello from Canada, nice to meet you all! Dickie Some clarification is obviously needed here. By 'all' this is not a reference to 1, 43 or 145 sections. Indeed, if it were a reference to any of those sections it would be more in the case of significant irony, as in "It's nice to meet you all... ah, ...

Re: Sgt. Dickie arrives at Sutton Bridge

If he didn't also destroy a staffel of Me110s and a schwarm of 109s, using the Hunter patented ramming manoeuvre, then he's probably not good enough for 601!

Welcome Dickie old chap!
