F/Sgt Dickie postings

Congratulations on completing OTU, and welcome to Tamgmere Pilots. Your parent squadron will be No601 Squadron. I think you'll improve their quality immeasurably until you turn native. For the remainder of the USAAF campaign you are assigned to 487th FS (USAAF squadron room 2) under the command of F...

Re: OMG

Ok everyone, Jab is back on ops as of Sunday. On comms he sounds like he's sitting in a bath (better when the game is running) but it'll do.

@Jab we didn't check SRS yesterday. If Silk is kind enough to run it on Friday we can check it then.

A TP.

Jacko won't really remember him because he was a member when I was in charge of 601 and 601 didn't really mix with the riff-raff of 1, 43 and 145 sections as they were then.

Re: Feldwebel Gramps leaves Kalach

And 601 will be your parent squadron.

Good luck! You’ll need it. Just remember to overclaim the victories and fail to report any airfield incidents and you’ll fit right in.

@Gramps don’t forgot to ask Fritz very nicely for some nose art for the next campaign.

Re: Chips with everything

I’d go with what Hatter says. By the time you get it there will probably be a better/cheaper option.

Colourised photos

There are some excellent colourisers out there, but my favourite has to be HowdiColour:

Sometimes the original wasn't great, but many of them look like they were taken yesterday.

Black Cross Red Star vol 1 revisited

Hi, my dear friends, I attach an excerpt of the raw, unedited, and not yet proofread manuscript of Black Cross Red Star – Air War Over The Eastern Front: Volume 1. Please have patience with some linguistic errors in the text – those will be corrected before printing. Photos will also be added. Here...
