Huzzah!

Just pray you get assigned to the cool kids in 4. staffel and not the inbreds at 5. staffel.

Re: Welcome Guests.

Hi T-Rex

see here - http://www.tangmerepilots.co.uk/recruitment.htm

To take part in official ops you have to get past OTU. During OTU you are more than welcome on a Tuesday or Friday evening from 20:30 GMT or so onwards.

You may well have seen just our server if you had mods enabled.

Re: Am I missing new pilots ?

Just a follow up on this. We tend not to make a big hoo-hah about new chaps because whilst we absolutely make them welcome them on comms, if they don't bother continuing, or are not quite up to scratch, or simply won't fit, we'd rather they had they impact of someone who was simply moved on from the...

Re: Feldwebel Fritz leaves Kalach

Hurrah!

Just watch out for them 5th staffel lot. They cover themselves in Russian mud, dance around naked then all cram into a single field tent. Then there is silence....

Re: Am I missing new pilots ?

Historically it was after AF1 but we had quite a few dropouts so I think we delay it slightly. Merlin will correct me if I'm wrong on this.

Updated as too many have game and forum names that are different.

Thinking about it, I'm casting a sharp glance at Roy here...

That doesn’t bother me. I just like to do a ton of reading on the front end of my mounts before I jump into the cockpit.
Oh dear that might make you too intellectual for Bunny. We tend to just jump in and hare around until the engine pops.

Re: Welcome Guests.

I suppose I’ll keep bopping around in my hurricane for now then We're swapping sides to enjoy all facets of the game. That means it is very likely that in the future we will be Soviet, LW, RAF and possibly USAAF. If folks don't want to explore everything that is absolutely fine, but they probably w...

Re: Is there a better, more HOTAS sensitive joystick?

I have a Monstertech mount and an old office waiting room chair. I find I can swivel around just enough without the joystick impeding me. I don’t think there is an easy option - joystick attached to a chair is kinda feasible but start moving around and the cabling will annoy or will simply not be lo...

Odd as I did send an email thought it expressed reservations about the time zone. I’ll double-check later.

Bloody students.

But doesn’t he have a lot of questions? I do like that he has already contribute to his own Tangmere story.

“I’ve got the map and route sorted” (or words to that wffcpoint t)

“We went to the wrong airfield.”

I wonder if he used Merlin’s sat nav...

Kipp, I changed your username and made it so you can see the forums. Please check it all - this is as far as I let myself go admin-wise so if anything doesn't work please pm Reggie as he's the web guru.
