Video card not recognized by new PC

So I just spent literally whole afternoon trying to put my new PC into life. Without success. I got myself: Gigabyte B550 Gaming X motherboard AMD Ryzen 5 5600X CPU Corsair Vengeance RGB 2x16GB 3200MHz CL16 WD Black SN750 1TB M.2 SilentiumPC Vero L3 Bronze 700W PSU put that all together and attached...

Re: Any OS but Windows 10?

Win10 is a decent system. You just need to tweak it a bit right after installation. Remove bloatware, set up the UI the way you find most convenient. Some of the annoying functions can be disabled quite easily, some via registry editing. In the end, it's not that bad. One gets used to it very quickly.

Saitek X-52 mod 2: the X-55 Boogaloo

I own Logitech X-52 Pro HOTAS system. I upgraded to it some time ago from my venerable Thrustmaster T-Flight HOTAS X as I was searching for a new HOTAS that would step up the game a bit but would still be on the cheaper side as I could not afford to invest into advanced systems like VKB or Warthog a...

Re: Welcome Guests.

Happy Reshade user here - and a proud one. Sorry chaps. Visibility is a subject of constant change in simulators with the 'alternate visibility' settings being prime example of it in Il-2. We all experienced patches which change our spotting perceptions significantly in both ways and I don't really ...

Saitek X-52 mod

I stumbled upon a very simple tweak for Saitek X-52 or Saitek X-52 Pro. Will try it once I get the magnets and report the results. My X-52 works just fine but has a bit of a dedzone in the center, this might help substantially.

Re: Any throttle recommendations?

Of course, the fit depends on the user so it does not have to be your cup of tea. I cannot compare the Pro version with the 2007 edition as I never tried the old one, but to me the pro is fairly ergonomic and has a nice soft-touch feel and solid bases readily designed for mounting. If I had few more...

Re: Any throttle recommendations?

If still relevant and you are looking for a HOTAS combo replacement in the future, I can recommend the X-52 Pro. The pricing is reasonable, there are plenty of controls on both throttle and stick and the stick has hall sensor which is nice.
