External views are often disabled in MP, so that could well be part of the issue there. I have also noticed for a long time that external padlocks are distance dependent.

Scratch what I wrote before. Find the manual for your Motherboard and look up the beep code errors on that. I got around this by enabling the desktop in WMR. Not sure I remember how I did that though, as it was most likely by accident when clicking around. Now I start WMR, slap the headset on, then launch from the desktop in WMR. The only bugbear at the moment is that Steam VR (which I know you don't use)...

You are correct, Mothy. M2 drives normally plug directly into the motherboard. Is it possible that Dutch maybe has an SSD as well (as I do) for extra storage?

I think that the only thing that may need to be actually upgraded will be the graphics card. I'm also running a i7 6700k at around 4.0GHz and it should be absolutely fine as far as processor capability is concerned. I also have a 1080TI, which is lower end of spec for the G2, but not massively under...
