Same. CH Pro pedals are a good choice for the low / mid range level rudder pedals. When the day comes that I can afford a set of Crosswinds though... that will be very nice.

Re: How to redirect steam location to update a game
Yes, you can. Click on Steam -> Settings and then navigate to the Downloads link. At the top of that window is a button called Steam Library Folders . Click on that, and it will bring up another window. At the top it'll show you your storage drives - to the right is a + button - use that to add a ne...

Re: Getting double vision in VR
Have you tried disabling Advanced Supersample Filtering in SteamVR settings by chance? This was a known issue that would cause double vision in IL2 on some systems.

Re: Aircraft Settings - for All Nationalities.
As a quick addition to this, I created a checklist for the Hs129 that replaces the in-cockpit photograph. This checklist was taken from one that I found on the Mission for Today forums: http://www.singularitycollective.org/images/TP/custom_photo_template.png To grab the file, download it from here: ...

Re: Preliminary research on my rig upgrade
Well I am definitely not buying a new graphics card till this card craze ends. According to the steam VR thingy, my PC is actually good? Well, the image suggests you should be able to run VR fairly well... but then it also depends upon the game and graphic settings too. Merlin I'm sure would have m...

Re: Preliminary research on my rig upgrade
I would look at it from a slightly different perspective Eddie, but following Sparky's outline - upgrade your PC first. Design the PC that you want with an end goal in mind... what do you plan on doing with it besides just flight simming? If VR is the end goal, then I'd work toward a higher end syst...

Re: Just got my G2 - and some questions for Merlin
The only bugbear at the moment is that Steam VR (which I know you don't use) sometimes pops up over the top of IL-2. Actually, I have to. OpenComposite doesn't work with WMR headsets, so I have no choice sadly. There's a setting in SteamVR to set it so it's not "Always on Top" (don't remember exact...

Just got my G2 - and some questions for Merlin
First things first - the visuals are amazing. The clarity is really, really good - it was like looking at a whole new cockpit. No longer needing to use the smaller zoom increments to read the smaller instruments was cool; heck, I could even read the fine print on the info placards in the cockpit. Sp...

Re: SRS
If this is going to be similar to DCS SRS, then all we'll need is a server to host the server based program on. Which could be either Prangster or Silk's (or both, depending upon the circumstances). From what I've seen with our DCS one, it doesn't take much resources at all to run, and we've had 2 i...
