Chips with everything

I have a dilemma. For Crimbo I ordered up a GTX1660Ti, which given my CPU should have given me enough va voom for a reasonable VR setup. I'm still waiting for it to appear. Scan cannot give me or anyone else a delivery date. They just say anyone who cancels will have to go to the back of the list on...

Fings aren't what they used to be

So my CH Fighterstick gave up the ghost, I've had it for a few years now and I think it was a second hand one some one gifted me Went to Scan and bought a new one last week. Bugger me it's broken already! The throttle wheel which I use for fuel mix has packed up. If you can't trust CH products, what...

Yeah best of luck. I ordered up a humble Gtx1660ti before Christmas from the usually reliable SCAN.

Re: 'Padlock' Glitch

Are you saying it will padlock enemy aircraft whilst on the ground but not in the air? And if so what appears on screen when you press the padlock button? Also have you tried using the F keys instead of a hat switch?

Edit: Also what happens if you press F2 followed by the hat switch?

Last night

I think it was Sparky who suggested the game crash might be due to the power saving setting of the USB hubs. This turned out to be true. I always used to have this feature turned off, but with the fresh install of Windows 10 it got turned back on again.

Thank you all for the help.

Yes you can buy something called the Delan clip it’s 50 odd squid.money I am reluctant to spend as I intend splashing out on a new GPU so I can use vr. View tracker looks good if you have a web cam which I dont have. Except maybe one r...

Re: Last night

The decision was taken out of my hands by a massive Windows auto update which took 1.5 hours and now puts me on version 2004. Still have the problem of having to reinstall the NVIDEA drivers after every time the pc is turned off, but it runs well enough.

Re: Last night

Thanks for the advice Mothy. I am running 1909 and I had hoped that allowing windows update would be enough.

I'll look into a fresh install, though I am reluctant to mess around too much.

Re: Last night

Yes there was an error message at first
Dx****[[ not found or somesuch. Which is why I thought it was a direct x error which updating windows would fix.

Later it just would not load

Re: Last night

Yeah got it sorted all right, no problem. Sent off my Forum post, tweaked the graphics how I like and guess what? Would not load!!! Neither would DCS so it's got to be the machine not the program right? Found the latest drivers Nvidea 446.14 loaded them up and it works again, wot a clever boy I am! ...
