Re: VR

I do have such an icon. Getting desperate now. reading Prangsters post. Do I need to plug in all three usb's? I don't think I will use the controllers Also I now think the problem is in the connection of the HDMI cable. Just a thought if the monitor and the rift have to be connected direct to the GP...

Re: VR

Ok,

I'll give it a go and I hope it works, though I am baffled as to why it isn't included in the installation download which I installed

Re: VR

I already had steam, just had to enable the steam vr…...not that that did any good.

Why would I need Oculus home? This appears to be a piece of software for looking round houses. It's free, but as we know in the world of the internet, if it's free, you are the product.

Trying to get oculus to work. Last night Silk advised that the monitor and the rift display cable had to be attached directly to the video card. Took the back off the pc which revealed the port and connected. Same as before , the usb cable shows as connected and I have sound but not the display and ...

Re: Wot VR

Been trying to see if my gtx 3gb can hack it. The Rift website says confusingly to me ]"applications must meet a consistent 90 frames per second (FPS) on a recommended spec machine and maintain 45 frames per second on a minimum spec machine to qualify for the Oculus Store Whateve...

Re: Wot VR

I have always thought that the cpu was the limiting factor in il2 graphics. I have an over locked i5k which seems to work well enough at less than maxed out settings. The Occulus specs say an i5 is fine and I read that the rift itself does not depend on a powerful cpu. So I don’t have to change the ...

AVG

Somewhat frustrating last night as after joining I found that I had to download a mini patch. But then the game wouldn't start. I traced the fault to the fact the il2 exe file had gone missing. I eventually traced it to the fact that AVG had identified it as a threat and quarantined it. After I rest...

Re: Feldwebel Mark leaves Kalach

You just reminded me Hatter, I've just replaced my old Hunter wellies with some new Aigles. They are pretty worn out but the calf adjusting straps are in good condition, shall I post them on to you?
