I’ve had to really concentrate to avoid the “buy” button when browsing 1080ti’s. Will be interesting to hear how much of an improvement you get Silk.

I'm sticking to the standard 1080 until either the next gen VR headsets or my colleague stops tutting about what is going through the company accounts...

It'll make a big difference Silk.

Indeed - considering that the current one is a GTX 970, which is still more than good enough for non-VR flying and still within the bounds of okay-ish for VR. Last night I took a P40 out for a spin on the Moscow winter map (RE+) and was getting aroun 70 fps at altitude. it's usually around 45-50 at altitude on the Kuban map recently, but that's with many of the other graphics turned down quite low (for now).

New card should get delivered tomorrow hopefully.

What settings?

With ultra and medium shadows and far distance and sharpen on etc I get between 40 and 90.

I played around somewhat with the various components - OTT, Steam VR and in-game according to a couple of posts I found between here and the 1c/777 forums. I'll have to look when I get in to find what they are.

Will need to discuss the possibility - I'll probably be donating it to my brother by Christmas time though.
