Nice vid Prangster, shame we dont have batsmen in IL2 - it would make things so much easier.

Do I remember that there was going to be some sort of landing indicators in Pacific Fighters ?

Mod required I think :D

I am surprised that no one has made a Deck Landing Officer MoD yet.

I Read somewhere that most of them in the US Navy during WWII were pilots that were on a rota as Duty Deck Exec officer.

Found an excellent tutorial at "mission4today.com" called
- Straight From The Farm

Although it started out with the VERY basics, (like taking off from a runway)
it had loads to teach me about taking off & landing on a carrier.

I'm now able to perform carrier landings with a rather high rate and
confidence. (which I could not do before)

There were also some very useful hints on how to optimize take-off from
a carrier with a full load, like setting fuel at 120%. Which was rather swing-
and-miss for me before.

I think I need to read this and quick, I followed the carrier film and crashed 9 times out of 10 I counted the success laningd as I clipped my landing gear off with tye deck and slid along to a stop
