Charlie should do a "blue peter" type thingy

Idle thought,

Would it be a cool idea for Charlie to post a step by step guide to making a model that us non-airfixy type people could follow:-

One step each week (for 30 weeks or so) to end up with an amazing model of a Spitfire or Hurricane or something German (shudder)....

1. Week one.
Which model to buy, what other stuff to get, how to unpack it, 1st things to do (like misplace the tail wheel......)

and follow on from there.

after 30 weeks, those that have survived and not thrown it out of the window can post up pics of their efforts. Charlie would most likely had a breakdown by then of course :-)

Discuss.........

A very nice idea Bunster, but with the lack of time I have at present it will take more like a bloody year to make something just out of the box let alone any after market details!! :-o

I am towards completing a commission build of a Special Hobby Fairey Barracuda (NOT for the faint of heart!), and it's taken much longer than it should have - in 'wheels up' mode too! Someone mentioned once that B25 was needed.... :D ;)

I've got about 20 unmade aircraft models in a cupboard at home bought when Connor was going through an Airfix phase.

I couldn't keep up with the purchases, & waved the white flag in the end.

Ah yes the b25. Still in my thoughts Charlie. I may well rekindle the idea.
