Hi Rene

Flashheart is unavailable as a name I'm afraid but we can figure one out. I've dropped you an email.

These new recruits are like buses. First there are none, then a whole bunch arrive at once!

Hi

apply here http://www.tangmerepilots.co.uk/recruitment.htm then when it registers I'll be in touch by email.

The only things is that you'll need a callsign that is vaguely 1940s RAF or something that might have been a nickname for one of the many other nationalities that flew with the RAF during WWII.

Hello Tangmere Pilots,

I've recently begun the process of joining you lot, according to Great War literature as long as I can ride a horse, drive a car or sail a boat I should be able to fly a plane. Jolly good I suppose, 1 out of 3 isn't bad and I've only crashed the car twice.

Flying experience is limited, I can get most things with one engine off the ground with practice and occasionally land them intact but I'm certain I'm not making the most out of the aircraft when it comes to trim, mixture, pitch and temperature etc. Which is what ultimately brings me here, I want to learn more and do it surrounded by lots of other friendly potential targets for the enemy.

As such I'm looking forward to OTU and eventually fully joining No.11 Group at Tangmere. Oh and in the spirit of full disclosure I'm an ex-RN Rating... so I suspect I'll be needing a suitably nautical nick name to distinguish myself from all you Crab-fats ;)

Cheers

Hi Halon,
Welcome to TP. Sorry there are no 'Top Brass' around to respond to you. No doubt they are unable to get their arms to extend past their gut to turn on the PC.

I would guess that by Friday you should have a chance of an official response. Look forward to seeing you as it were and don't be put off by some of the more repulsive elements who have managed to penetrate what was a fine organisation!
