Salute! :salute

My call-sign is Starfire, and I fly with European Air Force's 331 Sqd.
I recently started playing around with the missionbuilder and was hoping I could pick some trick for the trade her.
Should any of you think my english is a bit funny or strange, I hope to excuse my self, by claiming that I am a Dane and see way to many movies :ar!

I hope to see you up there in the virtual skies
Cheers

Hello Nick although Starfire sounds more sexy.
Prangster made a starter mission builder guide as a good start.

Hi Starfire

see here - http://forum.il2sturmovik.com/topic/177 ... ing-guide/ - for Prangster's guide. If you have any questions feel free to ask them here. Prangster is quite used to "silly" questions (isn't he Jacko...) so don't be afraid to ask them.

As for your English being funny or strange, that's quite normal for this bunch. Beware of Swallow though as a misplaced comma will have him foaming at the mouth.

Hello everyone,

I'm a 31 year old Belgian.
My name's Wouter, code-name "Rusti", and I'm as fresh as homegrown vegetables!

First off, the bad news.
I have very little flying experience and my time to dedicate is fairly limited (8 month old daughter).

That's it for the bad news though.
I'm very dedicated in what I do.
I fell in love with sim flying couple years ago with War Thunder.
I flew with the =FFA= squadron a couple times before real life demanded my full attention.
I loved the companionship of flying together though and have sorely missed it.

I'm set up with a newly upgraded pc, Track Ir, decent joystick, keypad and headset.

I bought BoS the day before yesterday.
Spend all of yesterday evening getting a Yak-1 with a cold engine in storage to the runway and eventually the skies in Expert mode.
When I was finally airborne I yelled so loud I accidentally woke my little girl...
Needless to say I'm already in love with this game and I'm looking forward to starting my training.

Hope to see you soon!

(Until then I'll just hang out in the hangar and wait for someone to leave his plane unattended)

HI Rusti,

Looks like I'm the early bird of the TP crew today. All the rest must be busy after over sleeping due to the clocks going back.

Always glad to welcome new recruits and we seem to have a high quality joining us these days, although enthusiasm in the face of adversity is of course the main requirement.

No doubt the "Top Brass" will be contacting you shortly. See you in the skies.

Hello to everyone
I am Papa Bear i'm Lithuanian but living in London.
I would like join your group if you are recruiting. Being lone wolf is not much fun, it is much better in coop with other people.
Little bit about me and my experience in fly sims.
I have Battle of Stalingrad and just over 200 h fly time i can fly anything ( take of and land ), i can do dog fight, well i'm not the best on it but and not the worst. I can do bombing (correct adjustment of wind, height, speed and wind angle adjustment) most of the time all bombs hit targets.
I did fly in the past FSX and X-plane, i do own CLOD (i did not fly much on that one) i do own and DCS as well.

Hi Papa Bear,

Just to let you know I received your Pilot Application form yesterday and have forwarded it to our Chief Training Officer/Overall Commander/Tennis Player/KFC Chicken Connoiseur/Lawyer chap, who the other pilots regularly shoot down for some reason or other. He should be in touch with you soon regarding the OTU Program.
