Feldwebel Wardy leaves Kalach

Post by Tom » Tue Feb 13, 2018 10:46 pm

Gentlemen,

Wardy successfully completed his final assessment flight tonight. He even managed to see some Heinkels (gasp). Then he shot one down and made a landing in a LaGG without spinning.

Anyway, I grudgingly suppose I have to say he did just about ok. Anyway, he is now operational and posted to 5./JG52 where Blackjack will have to welcome him in a good ol' down the valleys sort of way. A bit of Swarfega should do.

Wardy, watch out for the bomber boys. Oooh it's so hard to fly a bomber and bomb stuff. Ooooh landing is sooo difficult and all that. They're a bit precious.

Carry on.
In selecting the motto... 'all for one and one for all'... I have done so because it expresses what should be the creed to every Fighter Pilot. Never forget that you are an essential cog in the wheel, and if you break or fail it will let down your brother pilots, and the grimness of war allows for no such weakness.

We don't like pilots hitting cows or trees but hitting Tom is perfectly fine and he always cool about it after.

well done Wardy. I see you took the easy option and went for a fighter.
Bombers are very cool and quite difficult to fly and very difficult to bomb targets from 3500m.
fighters just zoom around the sky shooting anything. A bit like over eager dogs.:-)
well done sir!!
