Sgt Spartan - operational orders enclosed

Post by Tom »

Sgt Spartan,

congratulations on successfully completing OTU despite a number of control issues. At the entrance to OTU you may or may not find transport to the No145 mess. It'll be their transport so it could anything though they are fond of sending a bicycle without a saddle.

On the way you should skirt the 1 and 43 messes and kowtow as you pass 601. When you get to the 145 mess you should change your online name to No145_Spartan. You'll be welcomed as only they can welcome you. Make sure you get someone to look after you whilst you recover.

Ha, you're screwed!

Good luck!
In selecting the motto... 'all for one and one for all'... I have done so because it expresses what should be the creed to every Fighter Pilot. Never forget that you are an essential cog in the wheel, and if you break or fail it will let down your brother pilots, and the grimness of war allows for no such weakness.

Well done Spartan !

Welcome to 145 :ymhug:

Avoid Hatter
I only rent copies of Big & Bouncy, you cant "borrow" them
Dutch has seen it all - just ask (he shares a bunk with Hatter)
Dont get Mosie to teach you how to land - far better if I teach you
Malc often as a camera with him - so be careful
Dickie was our new chap - hes been well initiated (nudge nudge), now you get to take over - lucky you!

Joking aside - we are the best Squadron and we are allowed to have a laugh. Welcome aboard old bean.
Really.........avoid Hatter though......................

Welcome Spartan. I've emailed Hatter to let him know his bunk warming skills are required.

Bunny's given a nice summary of 145 already. I'll just add a couple of words of warning......

Hatter's beard is lovely, but can be rather scratchy.
Mosie's from Essex.

To be honest, the less said about Bunny the better.
I wanna go full-horrible. Take me to the nasties.

Thanks very much for the warm welcome.

I have an "in" with Big Bertha at the local, so the beers are on me. I`ll make sure I keep an eye on Hatter, don`t want him spiking my drink ;)

Just let me grab a bunk, then its off to the pub for my initiation!

Hatter conducts the initiation in your bunk.

Yes, watch out for the house special, the Roofie Colada...

Welcome to 145, Spartan! Now give us a boost as I go up one man on the totem pole (that's Canadian for upward mobility), mind the pile ointment left over from my welcome party a few weeks back...

Cheers, Mate!
