Sgt. MadDog leaves Sutton Bridge

Post by Tigertooo »

Just got and accepted his resignation.

"Hello Tiger
After consideration I have decided not to continue with the OTU. I have enjoyed our flights and learnt something too which is always good. For me my participation has always and will always be about simulation of flight rather than getting the most out of the game and it is for each virtual pilot to decide where that line lies.
Again, I thank you for all your assistance and time
MadDog"

That is a shame. Seemed a nice chap too.

Spartan, kick some sense into him will you?

;;)
In selecting the motto... 'all for one and one for all'... I have done so because it expresses what should be the creed to every Fighter Pilot. Never forget that you are an essential cog in the wheel, and if you break or fail it will let down your brother pilots, and the grimness of war allows for no such weakness.

Spartan, can you include me in the e mail session?
I was harder on him in his A/F 2 than i was with you .You spotted one ground tgt , introduced by me and he spotted none, hence i wanted him to use the "external padlock keys", as you should btw.
One can't spot any ground target in this "fantastic game", without using those keys
Seems that turned him off, but he would have passed using those keys.
Just let him know

I must admit I dont use Padlock as it does lessen the immersion. I can understand it to a certain degree for tanks and trucks, as it is very difficult to spot vehicles in fields, but aircraft, ships and trains shouldnt need it.

So I can understand what MadDog means.

I have never used padlock in any flight sim. If i can't see it, it doesn't exist :D

Interesting. For what it's worth I am happy with padlock etc when I am fighting AI. On account of they are all seeing and so on. But in human v human full real is the real deal.
