Ok Squirt got through AF2 and made a wonderful landing in the LaGG without spinning. Like most... of us.
In selecting the motto... 'all for one and one for all'... I have done so because it expresses what should be the creed to every Fighter Pilot. Never forget that you are an essential cog in the wheel, and if you break or fail it will let down your brother pilots, and the grimness of war allows for no such weakness.

Trouble with Tom being a lawyer is you never quite know if he is suggesting something other than the has written. Now did squirt spin hoplessly gunning the throttle in an attempt to stop the spin while you quietly sniggered to yourself. :D

No Jacko. That was another squadron member who shall remain nameless. I managed to pull off my best Lagg-3 landing to date after a touch-and-go due to too much speed and altitude on approach the first time (wheels touched the runway about where they should....... if I had been approaching from the other end!). :))

Well done Squirt.

It was Swallow.

And he deserved it after his cries of anguish at seeing me not spin, which was preceded by shooting at me during a 110 co-op (that's CO-OP i.e. we were on the same side...) despite both engines being dead and both props bent back after Moggy rammed me.

Hah!

Oh dear, you had to mention that Tom - the fact that we have both a Squirt and a Swallow in TP now bodes for some strange scenarios I am sure. :-o

And today (as I'd forgotten to take him through OTU in previous weeks) Squirt completed AF3, again landing a LaGG without spinning.

I know - no spinning!!!! What the heck was he thinking!!! I'm wondering whether he maybe needs a little more time to adjust to how the majority of players around here land the LaGG =))

I am proud of my spins with Russian aircraft, I am thinking of turning them into an art form - if I can't stop doing it, I should at least make it stylish - maybe a bit of wingtip smoke on for each landing? :)

I think our mistake is letting him land first so that we're all still in the air and busy watching our own gauges and whatnot while he lands.... if we were down and ALL watching him like a hawk he would get the full TP experience :))
