I seem to remember talk of 'einkels (Messerschmitts) when Tom was doing AF1 the other day, so assume this was working correctly. I will check it anyway.
Gosho this is mostly boring mission builder jargon I am surprised Tom did not give him a verbal slap like he does me ☺

There is also flak part way around some of the circuits and I'm not really sure that needs to be there in AFs that can be flown as either faction either. Guidance please?

Gosho passed AF2 tonight, after various connections problems and all that jazz. But says I (wiggling my eyebrows) will he pass AF3 and spotting all of those lovely ground objects...

Well done Gosho. I think you said last night that you were playing on a wireless connection. If so, then I would try to switch from wireless to cabled connection direct to the router if you can. You'll find the connection much more stable.

Congratulations Gosho who kept going despite attempts by the enemy to block our radio transmission. AF3 will be a breeze.

Huzzah - that was fun!

Sorry for the connection problems - my router officially died on me the very next day and I got a new one. It looks like I am fine with the new 802.11ac - I can now resume getting shot down gloriously on WoL :)

On a side note - I am going to China on a business trip for 6 weeks sometime in the beginning of June. Unfortunately, I won't be able to join you during that time as I can't take my "cockpit" there with me (and the Great Chinese Firewall does a splendid job of ruining any fun you might have on the Internet). That might slow things down a bit but I am in no hurry :D

Do you, guys, take time of during the summer?

Yep we have a summer furlough that will start on the 23rd or 30th July (whatever fits in with the missions/campaign) and then back on ops in early September. We'll still be about during August though.

When do you go? It'd be great to get OTU done so you can join in when you're back.

+1 fully agree. I ran a cable around the room just to do this.

I am due to fly out on 11th June but visa applications might postpone that a bit. There are at least two Tuesdays before that, so that should be OK. No more technical issues on my part, I hope :)

Gents, close friends of mine just gave birth to their first child this morning and as is customary here - we're going out for drinks tonight (well, with the happy father at least). I will try and join you around 9:30-10pm British time but please excuse me if I can't make it or if the blood alcohol content prevents me from showing up.

I know that Merlin has sorted out the issues that were preventing access to his DServer, so OTU should be fine and available.
