Feldwebel Woody arrives at Kalach
Oh how I giggled when he put his gear up before starting to take off.
Anyway, apart from that little hiccup (and missing the He111s naturally, and the FWs in the circuit when landing and so on) he did ok. Then he joined in with us on a normal night and had fun, and he even got a Pe2!
So, welcome him in your own individual ways (watch out for Tiger as he lurks in the background ready to pounce...).
Congratulations Woody, now for AF2 next week.

In selecting the motto... 'all for one and one for all'... I have done so because it expresses what should be the creed to every Fighter Pilot. Never forget that you are an essential cog in the wheel, and if you break or fail it will let down your brother pilots, and the grimness of war allows for no such weakness.

Thank you, Blackjack! :)
BTW, I grabbed a few screenshots of the post A/F antics here.
Nothing earth-shattering, but I like this one where Tom buzzes through a Sturmovik formation and makes them scatter to the four winds.

Welcome Woody, sadly I am not around as much as I would like to be at the moment, but I am sure I will meet you in the air at some point soon :)

Re: Feldwebel Woody arrives at Kalach
Woody completed AF2 tonight with the unusual distinction of gaining an Iron Cross Second Class whilst flying a LaGG.

Well done Woody - as long as Tom wasn't one of your 'kills' (yet) you'll be fine.... we all get confused when swapping between faction aircraft :D

I hope our Political Officer doesn't bother to read the forums? Anyway, the less said the better. #:-s
Thank you, Tom, you were awesome as usual! The Lagg actually seems a great plane; you can even lose an aileron and barely notice it because of the flexible trim settings. Flying with two ailerons is a lot more preferable, though!
And thanks you to everybody else too! As usual, I had a lot fun flying with you tonight! :banana

Well done, Woody - keep it up!
Flying with ailerons is overrated - trim only is for aces :)
