Eddie has passed AF3 and in doing so got a Russian horde of T34's to scatter in panic with his well-placed bomb.

Good job. You're almost finished.

I hope you had something caustic and witty chalked on the side of the bomb.

Let's not get hasty now, Wardy. I still have hope he won't make it.

Eddie, if you get a section do you want Paulie in it so you can order him to attack flak?

Not a great plan. Paulie is actually quite good at flak attacks!

Provided he doesn't bail out while looking for supercharger switch on the way to the target, of course.

In my defence, IL-2 doesn't even have a supercharger.

And yes, I'm in fact excellent at taking out Flak. Especially by ramming it.

Firstly, I doubt I'll ever get a section. That would be a terrible idea.
Secondly, if I do, I would let Eddie sit on the field as a reserve so that he can't have any fun in the air. And yes, I would be willing to not to have a wingman for that.
