Fritz here - just one more OTU flight to go. Thanks Bunny - looking forward to flying with all of you.

Just an FYI... I didn't realize that my Steam ID and my IL2 BoX ID are actually different. Changing my Steam ID to Fritz did nothing, so you guys were seeing me as "casimir06" while in practice flights. My apologies... that's been fixed - I should now show up as TP_Fritz.

Superb. Get that last one done then you’re operational.

Tom, Merlin,
Isn't it normal TP practice to post all the new chaps names into the OTU room so we can welcome them correctly ?

Historically it was after AF1 but we had quite a few dropouts so I think we delay it slightly. Merlin will correct me if I'm wrong on this.

As Tom has said, we have decided its better to introduce new recruits on comms and congratulate them on finishing OTU in the forum.

Just a follow up on this.

We tend not to make a big hoo-hah about new chaps because whilst we absolutely make them welcome them on comms, if they don't bother continuing, or are not quite up to scratch, or simply won't fit, we'd rather they had they impact of someone who was simply moved on from the squadron they were assigned to i.e. none at all. If it wasn't approached that way it'd cause a lot of grief and we all like a quiet life.

Yes, Tom's lazy inverted low high-speed pass and roll through the landing pattern full of crippled, smoking aircraft trying to land with bits falling off.

The quiet life. :Peace
