Get a 2060 instead, just check that your pc can handle it and has the required connections etc.

Cheers Tom, I have no idea if my PC could manage a 2060:Tom wrote: ↑Wed Dec 18, 2019 3:15 pmNot for that money.charlie wrote: ↑Wed Dec 18, 2019 1:26 pm https://www.ebuyer.com/752928-zotac-gef ... gLuKPD_BwE

The system I have is what Flash supplied a few years back:
Intel Core i5-4460 3.20GHz
8GB RAM
Win10 64bit
NVidia GTX 760
I guess this would beinadequate for a 2060?

Re: Is this a decent graphics card?
Choose a 2060 then tell us your motherboard and PSU then we can figure it out.
@Hatter I’m waiting for the same question in December 2020.

Scan do the GTX 1060 3GB for £157 and a GTX 1060 6 GB isn't much more.

Re: Is this a decent graphics card?
Yes - the motherboard should take most modern graphics cards.
If you can, get a 1060. If not a 1060 then a 1650. Also check your power supply unit and what the graphics card needs to make sure you can power it.
eg. https://www.overclockers.co.uk/evga-gef ... 0e-ea.html - this is a dual slot card and it needs an extra 6-pin power connection.

Re: Is this a decent graphics card?
IMO the 1060, 1065, 1660 etc cards are worthless.
Check out the AMD 5700xt instead.

Re: Is this a decent graphics card?
No point as they’re waaaay over budget unless you can find one for around £160.

Re: Is this a decent graphics card?
Thanks chaps, I went with the 1060 Tom posted (but through Amazon). The AMD is too pricey for now and I can't believe 1080's are going for over £1000! Madness! My PSU is 650w and the 760 is currently connected to it via a 6 pin I think. It also appears to be held together mostly by dust! I haven't opened the case in 4 years!
