Feldwebel Eddie leaves Kalach

Post by Tom » Fri May 11, 2018 9:10 pm

Gentlemen,

Feldwebel Eddie managed to complete his final OTU flight. He sort of stayed in a sort of formation, managed to see things he was pointed at, and only spun once after landing. All in all a perfect candidate for the bombers. However, there was one ray of light as he managed to shoot down a Heinkel so perhaps there is hope for him after all.

Anyway, welcome him in the ol' TP way but make sure he can still walk afterwards.

He now has to choose bombers (boo hiss) or fighters.
In selecting the motto... 'all for one and one for all'... I have done so because it expresses what should be the creed to every Fighter Pilot. Never forget that you are an essential cog in the wheel, and if you break or fail it will let down your brother pilots, and the grimness of war allows for no such weakness.

We need more meat for the bomber group. Oops I meant we need more brave pilots.
Well done Eddie. May God bless all who sail in him !

Congratulations! Flying fighters is sort of like guiding a tour group of grandfathers through a dodgy neighborhood and then back home again.

Glad you're operational. Welcome aboard. The calls for skins have already started!

I just googled what that dish looks like. Damn, now I'm hungry for some Indian food.

However, Korma (also known as Thor's Hammer) down here means beer (either light or dark) mixed with mead. You can get it in our favourite medieval-themed pub in Brno. Pricey but really tasty and two of them do the job of a sixpack.
And since Eddie is a promising formula-engineering student who will once have monthly wage exceeding that of combination of mine and Paulie's, I'm sure two (or twenty) cannot hurt his wallet. :Angel :Party
