PC out of action.

Post by wardy » Fri May 18, 2018 11:19 pm

Well chaps my PC went a little off the deep end and went almost poof.

Looks to me that one of the AIO fans went bad i.e. one of the fans sounds like the bearing has gone, did not notice at first while I was in VR and the temps went sky high....

So new fans on order ( should be here Sunday if I am lucky.....) Note to self for next time.. build own PC rather than asking Scan to do it..less headache..save money in long term....

Anyway see you all in the skies soon.

That is a shame.
In selecting the motto... 'all for one and one for all'... I have done so because it expresses what should be the creed to every Fighter Pilot. Never forget that you are an essential cog in the wheel, and if you break or fail it will let down your brother pilots, and the grimness of war allows for no such weakness.

Bad luck Wardy. I’ve always self built my pc’s, it’s much more exciting, and also the reason I have a small fire extinguisher in my man cave.

Well I used to do the same. As the saying goes. You live, you learn. New fans came at long last. Got some noctua fans ( they are not cheap) to fit to the AIO as the stock ones are shockingly bad.. Saying that I got away with it over heating as I have been stress testing it with the new fan config and it's solid as a rock.
