| August 1941 Stan becomes an ace after disabling Luftwaffe pilot Hauptmann Helmut Von Winkeltosser by biting his leg and so preventing his escape after he bailed out over Tangmere Airfield.

August 1941 Stan is assigned to gate duty by S/Ldr Tom, Commanding Officer of 601 Squadron after several civilian complaints relating to drunken pilots returning from the pub. |
